BRAKING

Rollerblade says that when you can stop, there is no where you can't go.  With Active Brake Technology, this holds true for everyone.  It is now easier to stop no matter what your skill level is.  The ABT system is a must for beginner skaters.  It requires less balance and more control which gives you more confidence.  For the more experienced, or if you're just 'old school'  the traditional fixed brake is still available, which requires more balance, but allows for more advanced skating techniques.  Keep in mind, though, when the ABT system is in it's highest position, it is the same as a standard brake, so you can have the best of both worlds.

Active brake technology:

an easier and safer way of breaking.  Constructed with highly resistant components and magnesium and steel.  Light weight, integrated,  30 percent more efficient breaking.  Easy adjust.  The cuff flexes is freely at the front as not to compromise skating performance when flexing.

Adjusting the device and replacing the pad:

to lower the breaking system lift the adjust them device ring found on the inside of the brake support and turn it clockwise or get the specific wrench which is attached to the skate's Velcro strap and the hole on the outside of the brake support and turn it counter clockwise.  Carry out this operation in order to tune the device to compensate for pad wear and to brake quicker.  The device is tuned if the alarm is extended and adheres well to the boot after the breaking system has been activated manually by completely turning the cuff.  To replace the worn the pad or to lift it to a higher position, publish the brake release button bush the pad and activate the device then set at the height from the ground required.
